Abstract

A toilet paper dispenser contains both wet 14 and dry 15 toilet tissues in a single fitment. The fitment may be fastened to a wall. It retains the wet tissues in their original manufacturers container and allows access to the wet tissues from whichever side of the fitment is required. The fitment may be locked to prevent the theft of the wet tissue container. <IMAGE>

Description

TOILET PAPER DISPENSER This invention relates to a toilet paper dispenser.
More and more, people are becoming increasingly conscious of personal hygiene. Most would, had they the space and resources, have a bidet fitted in their homes feeling that dry toilet paper on its own, does not meet their needs. Having both wet and dry toilet tissues to hand at the proper time would, I am sure, satisfy that need.
Accordingly this invention provides a bathroom/toilet fitment that combines both wet and dry toilet tissues in a single dispenser.
I have described this invention using drawings figures 1-4 to illustrate.
Fig 1 Shows the dispenser in the form of a box shaped unit, without either wet or dry tissues.
Fig 2 Shows the same unit loaded with a plastic wet tissue container and a dry toilet paper roll. It also shows the unit with a lockable lid.
Fig 3 Shows one side of the same unit with an alternative locking attachment.
Fig 4 Shows a unit of the same basic design but shaped differently. It also shows the wet tissue container above its intended position.
TOILET PAPER DISPENSER As can be seen from the drawings, the dispenser comprises a three sided box shaped unit Fig 1-10 with recesses on the inside of both sides, Fig 1-12 which allows a plastic, wet tissue container, Fig 2-14 to be loaded from the top, Fig 4-14 and held firmly in place. Both recesses are holed through the outer veneer of the sides Fig 1-13 thereby giving access to the wet tissues Fig 2-17 from either the left or right hand, dependant upon which way the container has been loaded. Below the wet tissue container, when in position is situated the dry toilet roll spring loaded axle Fig 1-11.
The size and shape of the unit is a matter of design and fashion.
It would of course be affected by the materials used in its construction. The only critical dimensions are those necessary to hold the wet tissue container firmly in its place once it is pushed home. The drawings are based on the medicated wet tissue containers currently on sale in the high street chemists. The size of which lends itself admirably to being paired with the commonly used dry toilet rolls.
The drawings also show how it is possible to secure the fitment from the theft of the wet containers Fig 2 shows a loaded dispenser with a lockable lid, which is spring loaded and key operated.
Fig 3 shows an alternative locking attachment hinged at the back end and secured by an allen key stud at the front.
