Abstract

The belt is designed as an adjustable belt with a warning device comprising a battery operated buzzer or alternatively a silent vibrator. The warning device activates when the stomach muscles expand and de-activates when stomach muscles return to normal position. The belt therefore encourages a wearer to maintain correct posture. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION The Posture Correction Belt DESIGN BRIEF AND APPLICATION GENERAL (a) This invention is designed as an anjustable belt with a warning device.
The warning device activates when the stomach muscles expand de-activating when the muscles return to their correct position.
OPERATION (a) The basis of operation and design helps maintain and encourage deportment.
(b) Operation encourages keeping stomach muscles or any other part of the body taut and in a set position.
RESULT When wearing the belt any movement out of alignment activates a buzzer or vibrator on the belt.
OPERATION Designed to correct bad posture by giving an audible warning when posture is incorrect.
Wrap posture belt around stomach at waste level.
Adjust tension on belt in the correct posture position.
Alarm will sound when stomach is relaxed or the wearer is slouching.
An alternative device is available which replaces the audible warning with a vibrator.

Claims (2)

1. An adjustable belt comprising of a battery operated buzzer that emits a sound or vibrates on expansion.
2. An incorrect movement by an injured limb or muscle would activate the buzzer or vibrator (ie Strapped up shoulder joint).
