Abstract

The arm is made of hollow tubing mounted on a swivel spigot over a turntable at 90 degree angle D. The sensor A is connected or can be part of the arm. The balance weight B can be part of or attached to the arm. The Cantelever weight C can also either be pan of or attached to the arm. The Fulcrum D or swivel spigot is the source of balance. The calibration weight D controls the pressure at A. <IMAGE>

Description

This invention is based on a principle that the balance arm in Figure 2.
The Anti Gravity Arm is now the basic source of receiving and relaying information and moves vertical and horizontally and the relay of information relies solely on the sensitivity of the arm design. The turntable is now the source for supplying an uninterrupted constant speed.
Suspension is not critical as the sensitivity of the arm in Figure 2 is such that the the sensor Figure 2 A remains in contact even if the surface area le the record is warped.
The sensitivity of this arm is such that if the source, ie the record is perfect, so is the relay of information perfect.
TURNTABLE BALANCE ARM This invention relates to a Turntable Balance Arm.
Turntable balance arms are well known for there basic features of construction. As shown in Figure 1 they are usually based on the principle of a high accuracy table surface area. The balance arm relays inioraticn from a record grove. Informatibn is received by an information sensor ie stylus cartridge. The information is then transferred via the arm. The arm is usually of the Bantelever principle.
The degree of fine accuracy involved is such that information is received from a record grove as small as 17 billionths of an inch. If the turntable wobbles by as much as 1 millionth of an inch information is lost.

Claims (4)

1. The combination of varying weights at certain points of the arm create a combination of forces, that bend the bars forces. React ion at contact point A Figure 2 is to move vertically elevating this point.
2. The pressure at contact point A as claimed to n Claim 1 is inhibited by pressure a contact point B.
3. Pressure at contact point A as claimed in Claim 1 and 2 is controlled by the calibration weight E.
4. Whether sensor is rising or falling perfect contact is still being made constant+.
