Combs, hair.-A comb for toilet or veterinary use is provided with a toothed guard E narrower than the comb A, formed as an extension of the latter, or attached thereto by screwing or riveting, or by clips H, J, as shown. A piece of rubber, felt, cork, sponge, or other absorbent material D is located between the comb and the guard. Both comb and guard are made with either fine teeth or coarse teeth, or with a mixture of both.
