Abstract
A catch bat comprises a flat plastics paddle, or bat with an extending handle. A hole is provided in the surface of the bat through which a ball or the like can pass to be retained by a net. <IMAGE>
Description
CATCH BAT
The Catch Bat is a "Bat" with a 3" Dia hole as in Fig (1).
And on the back of the Catch Bat is a net to catch the ball into as in Fig (2).
The Catch Bat is a game. You can play the Catch Bat anywhere up the wall in the house on the beach it works like this:
You bat the ball and your friend catches the ball in the 3"
Dia hole and so the bat could be round or square.

- I David Willis of 25 Butfield House Homerton Terrare Homerton London E9 6RS A British subject do hereby declare the nature of this invention the "Catch Bat" could be produced from a plastic such as polystyene this material which is readily available in a variety of colors is reasonably priced and easily formed by a wide range of plastic processors injection molding might be a standard approach to production if a ball was to be included in the package it would likely be of a hard hollow plastic or rubber.It appears that the "Catch Bat" could be produced easily using conventional and readily available materials and manufacturing processes. No new production technology would be required.Marketing considerations.The "Catch Bat" would be entertaining. Many people enjoy games that involve catching a ball. And there are hundreds of games that involve just that. However when individuals want to catch and bat at the same time, they have to put their gloves down to hit and their bats down to catch. With the "Catch Bat", they would not have to do this instead, they could hit and catch with the same object. Furthermore, this product could test the skills of the individuals involved evenmore so than would be the case with just catching with baseball glove. Thisis why this product would be a challenge and could lead to cometitiveness between or among its players. The "Catch Bat" would also be portable and could be played virtually anywhere at the park, on the beach, in the yard, or on the street. It could also be used by people of almost any age children adults alike. Furthermore, apartner would not necessarily be needed to play. A person still bat and catch the call by just playing against any hard surface or wall. The "Catch Bat" would also be relatively inexpensive. Primarily, the basic information package report which is a resume of the "Catch Bat" summarizing its positive and most appealing features.
