Abstract

An arrangement in a hood frame, e.g. for use on top of a windscreen (2) comprising front and side screens (2a, 2b) for pleasure craft, in which base frame (3) of hood frame (1) comprises a profile (3a), e.g. of extruded aluminium for cooperation with first fastening means (4) for hoops (5), and other fastening means for lower rim (8) of a hood cloth (7) supported by hoops (5), respectively. Hoops (5) are at their end portions slewably as well as raisably and lowerably connected with said first fastening means (4), which are slidably provided in a first undercut longitudinal groove (9) in profile (3a), and are lockable in desired positions. The second fastening means at lower rim (8) of hood cloth (7) consist of a bead (10) for cooperation with a second undercut longitudinal groove (11) in the profile, which is provided with at least one enlargement (11a) in its groove mouth for insertion of hood bead (10) into groove (11) to be firmly held. Hood beads (15) which are secured to the inside of hood cloth (7) may be secured in the same manner in grooves (12) with mouth enlargements (12b) in hoops (5).
