Abstract

224,456. Buddenberg, G. March 28, 1924. Presses for use in glueing veneer comprise a heated pressing-beam and a heated supporting- plate which are both divided longitudinally into two parts 1, 2 and 3, 4, as shown in Fig. 3. The parts are clamped together by screw spindles 9 - - 12 so as to be adjustable vertically and horizontally. The opposite faces of the parts 1, 2 of the pressing-beam are provided with interlocking teeth 15, Fig. 2, to prevent warping of the veneer. Channels 13, 14 in the parts 1 - - 4 are designed to receive a heating-medium.
