Abstract

224,121. Drucker, W. J. Jan. 8, 1924. Cutting slices in succession. - In a slicing-machine having a disc of the type wherein a normally flat cutting-plate is dished by securing it against a concave carrier disc, the cutting-plate is annular. The plate 10 is provided with countersunk holes 16, to receive the securing-scraws 27, alternating with radial slits 13 which allow the plate to be distorted. The slots 13 terminate in previouslv formed holes 14. The carrier disc 17 is carried by the shaft 18 by pins 23 and a bolt 19. A plate 28 is secured bv a bolt 29 over the slits 13 and screws 27 whereby dirt is excluded.
