Boxes made by bending sheet material; strengthening by corrugating and otherwise treating.-The tubular bod of a cardboard or other non-metallic box is of pentagonal or other polygonal cross-section and is strengthened by having the longitudinal edges a beaded or ribbed. The material may be of double thickness adjacent the ribs, or metal wire, &c. may be inserted in the ribs.
