Abstract

A dynamic head of a loud speaker comprises a flat round diaphragm (2) secured in a casing and excited by means of an exciting element having an edge which follows the circumference of the diaphragm and is fixed to the rearside of the latter. The diaphragm (2) comprises a honeycomb filler secured between two cover sheets and consisting of hexahedron cells (6) made of bent strips (7). The strips (7) have sections (7a) fixed to the adjacent sections (7a) of the neighbouring strips (7). The diaphragm (2) is provided with a rib (16) constituted by a thin-walled fold located on its surface perpendicularly to the fixed sections (7a) of the neighbouring strips (7). Instead of one rib (16) there may be several ribs located symmetrically beyond the central part of the diaphragm (2).
