Abstract

A multiple dice block 1 has any side of the block divided in some way along the length of the block into two or more segments 3, each segment representing one die or other action generating device for use in a game. <IMAGE>

Description

MULTIPLE DICE BLOCK This invention relates to a multiple dice block.
In many games , dice or other action generating devices are commonly used to establish the value of a players turn. In certain games several dice or devices are used , one or more each for a different part of the game. These dice or devices have individual markings on them dependant on their use in the game. In other games , the same markings may have different values assigned to them according to their use.
These circumstances may lead to unwanted complexity for the manufacturer or confusion for the player.
According to the present invention , there is provided a multiple dice block , having any side of the block divided in some way along the length of the block into two or more segments , each segment representing one die or other action generating device for use in a game.
A specific embodiment of the invention will no be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which t- Figure 1 shows in per6pective a multiple dice block.
Figure 2 shows in perspective a separate multiple dice block.
Referring to the drawing , the block 1 has a section 2 resulting in a number of sides. Any side may be divided in some way into a number of segments 3 , each segment being differentiated in some way from another segment , so that each segment can be considered as one die or other action generating device. Any face It of any segment 3 may be marked with a value for a players turn.
In play , the player nominates a segment according to the rules of the game , rolls or throws the block , and moves or acts according to the indication on the face uppermost in the appropriate segment.
Figure 1 shots a block having the faces h marked to indicate the length of a player's move. Figure 2 shows a block having the faces It marked to indicate the direction of a players move.
Although the drawing shows a block 1 of hexagonal section 2 s the section nay have any number of sides as dictated by the requirements of the game.
Although the drawing shows a block 1 having a certain number of segments 3 , the number of segments may be any number as dictated by the requirements of the game.
Although the drawing shows a block 1 having faces It marked with numerals or letters , any face It of any segment 3 may be unmarked , or marked in any way , as dictated by the requirements of the game.

    1. A multiple dice block having any side of the block divided in some way along the length of the block into two or more segments , each segment representing one die or other action generating device for use in a game.
    2. A multiple dice block as claimed in claim 1 which has a cross section as an ecual sided figure.
    3. A multiple dice block as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 which has a hexagonal cross section.
    It. A multiple dice block as claimed in any preceding claim which has any segment marked to differentiate it from another segment, 5. A multiple dice block as claimed in any preceding claim which has any segment differentiated by colour , shading or colour and shading.
    6. A multiple dice block as claimed in any preceding claim which has any segment differentiated by any variety of symbol or symbols or combination of any variety of symbol or symbols.
    7. A multiple dice block as claimed in any preceding claim -'hich has any face of any segment marked with any variety of symbol or symbols or combination of any variety of symbol or symbols.
    8. A multiple dice block as claimed in any preceding claim which has any face of any segment marked with any colour or shading or colour and shading.
    9. A multiple dice block substantially as described herein with reference to Figures 1 -2 of the accompanying drawing.
