AUTOMATIC MAIL DELIVERY EQUIPMENT
DESCRIPTIONS
The automatic Post Box is designed for mainly the use of
Post Office Secretarial Services and those whom wish to provide a 24 hour Mailing service for their customers. A person whom will use the automatic Post Box shall receive a membership card which includes a pacific number. Also shall be confirmed about code number to make it possible to use the system. The instruction on how the system operates are enclosed on (Page 10).
How the system functions:
The automatic Post Box contains three sections as follows.
SECTION 1 (SERVICE UNIT)
The actual service unit that receives the orders (Page 8).
Service unit can be made in different sizes, style and colours subject to the customers orders and space availability. Service unit can be made to the wall or as a shelf standing unit. The size and the style can be different in various ways subject to the space availability building, structure, capacity and customer request.
PLEASE NOTE:
The mailing storage can be made in different sizes, style and shape, because every building may have different structure where the actual storage unit needs to be fitted.
SECTION 2 (STORAGE TUBE)
Each storage tube consists of storage rings and each ring can store 36 individual mailing section (Page 7 and 6). The storage rings can be increased or decreased subject to the requirement and space facility. The request mail released (Details on how to use the system is on page 10).
Basically the code number given will release the mail from the pacific section by using electronic lock. The mail shall drop in to the tunnel in the middle of the storage tube. At the bottom of the tube a Conveyor will transfer the mail in to the actual service unit (Page 8).
PLEASE NOTE:
Incase the service unit will be made as a self standing unit the storage tube will be fixed inside the service unit. The storage tube can be fixed in the basement or floors above and basically a standard Conveyor will transfer mail in to the service unit which is fixed outside the premises for the customers use. As explained above the mail storage unit has to be built in various different structure and shape due to the facilities available. It is not possible to offer just one standard unit and this can be made in many different ways to insure the customer satisfaction with regard to space facility and the capacity required in different buildings.
SECTION 3 (CONVEYOR)
Conveyor acts as a bridge between section 1 (service unit) and section 2 (STORAGE TUBE). Conveyors are available in the market in different styles and shapes, therefore we may use the right structure available subject to the requirement.
MAIL CONTAINER
This can be made from leather or plastic which one side is secure by a zip. All the mails concerning one section (A customer mail) will be stored in this container. Customer shall receive through the system the set container, take out his mail and put it back in the section MAIL IN.
For the Secretarial Services the same can be used for their customers to put his order to the unit at his conveyance time and collect the finished work after standard time limit given by the organization.
MEMBERSHIP CARD POINT
Card Point (Page 5). There are 10 sections, numbers from 1-7 and 3 additional reserve sections (For further capacity needed) from A-C. Each number for example number one is programmed (1+) and (1-). The customer membership card reads 2006. The first digit and the last digit will be used into the system and the number shall read 26.
The system has been programmed to take the first digit (+) and the last digit (-). Therefore, the system shall take the set for example (2+)+(6-). The customer membership card as explained for example 26 will carry the power to the
Storage Tube and opens the lock on section 26.
CODE NUMBER
It is used for extra security which means encase the customer loses their membership card, someone else should not be able to use the system. Therefore, the code number used to avoid any problems. The code number can act in two different systems, subject to the condition of building.
A) The code number can be used to allow the power into the system.
B) Code number can be used to lock and reopen the screen of the front of the system. This system are used also presently for the entrance doors. This system has been manufactured by different companies and is available in the market.
