Abstract

The furnace comprises a lined working chamber (1) with sheathing (2), heaters (4) located under the furnace roof, a metal guide (5) for delivering the metal and a running magnetic field inductor (9) mounted outside the working chamber (1). The metal guide (5) consists of two branches (6, 7) -a lower and an upper one-, which are oriented at an obtuse angle alpha in relation to each other. Above the upper branch (7) of the metal guide (5) is mounted a partition (8). The inductor consists of two sections (10, 11) located, respectively, under the lower (6) and the upper (7) branches of the metal guide (5).
