Description

NONCIRCULAR CYLINDER SUFlMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to cylinder assembly for machines or apparatus as hoisting gear,control gear,hydraulic actuator, pump barrel, or either of these containing a cylinder assembly.
It is a primary object of the present invention to provide a cylinder assembly for a long-run development machines and apparatus which can be produced with external technological economies of scale and are capable to use up in the different fields of industry.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide the noncircular cylinder,which can be produced by the methods now known and can be produced by the other method now known compare favourable therewith and can be produced at a much lower cost.
The present invention has an object the cylinder assembly having a curve form of reference center line,- due to it is possible to produce a new machines and apparatus of particular kinds.
Further objects, advantages and application of the present invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art to which this invention pertains, when the accompanying description of one example of the best for practicing the invention is read in conjunction with accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIC.1 is a sectional elevation of the cylinder assembly having noncylindrical form of cylinder's body and a curve form of reference center line.
FIG.2 is a transverse section of the structure shown in FIG.1 as indicated by the line A-A of that figure.
FIG.3 is a fragmentarly transverse section of cylinder's body 26, having ring-shaped form.
FIG.4 is a fragmentarly transverse section of the cylindrical form of machine's body 38 with joined cylinder's body 36,being placed to the angle indoors.
FISTS is a vertical longitudinal section of the structure shows fragmentarly equipment and the method of production a liner being made from composite material.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Looking now in detail at the accompanying drawings.FIGS.1 and 2 illustrates a cylinder assembly,which includes cylinder's body 10 having curved center line 11.Cylinder's body 10 comprises roll -formed channel iDa, stripe 10b and liner 12, being made from composite material.A center line of piston 14 and rod 16 is curved as center line 11. As best seen in FIGS.1 and 2,a form of outer surface of piston 14 is made in conformity with sliding guide surface 12a of liner 12.
The present invention is concerned with a wide variety configuration of cylinder's body structure.Refering to FIG.2 of the drawing,the cylinder's body comprises so widely distributed crude details as channel or stripe.At the same time a cylinder's body for the purpose of the present invention can includes the different form of profile as angle iron,H-beam so well as other rolled section, for instance.
For the purpose of the present invention,a sliding surface of piston can be made by the methods now known,where a cylinder's wall surface can be made by the methods now known,- by a burnishing broach, for instance,and can be produced by the other method now known compare favourable therewith.For this purpose,the present invention provides the method of production,where a liner of cylinder being made from composite material, as it will be said below.
FIG.3 shows an improved form of Cylinder's body 26,which can be fastened efficiently in position to the cylindrical form body 24 of machine or apparatus.Body of cylinder 26 includes roll -formed side walls 26a and 26b and faceplates 26c and 26d.
A roll-formed piston 28 with rod 22 reciprocates perpendicular to plane of drawing.
As shown in FIC .4 ,the sliding surfaces of liner 34:- side 34a and a side 34b are disposed in parallel to the angle indoors.
The side 34c having the similar shape as adjoining body of machine 38.The intricate shape of cylinder's body 36 permits efficiently to use a space indoors,while an adequate sliding surface of piston 35,permits to have an ultimate power in those sizes of cylinder's body 36.The piston 35 reciprocates perpendicular to the plane of drawing. In the prefered embodiement of the present invention the liner 34 being made from composite materials.
FIG.5 illustrates a liner 48 producible by help of composite polymeric material as styrenes durable copolymers, for instance.
As best seen in FIG.5 a shaper 43 and wall surface 41a of cylinder's body 41 being adapted to fit substantially parallel position with a predetermined space between by means of hollow in the bottom of cylinder's body 41 and the hole 45a.
A prepared fluid-flow copolymer pours across a bore 45b.After solidification of copolymer, shaper 43 and cover 45 can be move away. A shaper 43 being lubricated first - preventive from adhesion with c;opolymer. The liner 48 will found connected with cylinder's body 41. An inner surface of cylinder's body 41a must be degreased for the better adhesion with solidified copolymer.
The noncircular cylinders can be produced thereby by the method now know compare favourably therewith and can be produced at a much lower cost.
The present invention has been described in detail above for purposes of illustration only and is not intended to be limited by this description or otherwise to exclude any variation or equivalent arrangement that would be apparent from or reasonably suggested by the foregoing disclosure to the skill of the art.

Claims (5)

What I claim is:
1. A cylinder assembly comprising a cylinder body and a piston slidable therein, wherein the cylinder body has noncylindrical its wall surface being adapted to receive said piston; wherein the piston,being positioned in the cylinder body, has its outer surface arranged for reciprocating therein.
2. The combination set forth in claim 1, in which a cylinder body,having any form its wall surface, defining a curve form of its reference center line being adapted to receive a piston being positioned therein; the piston has its outer surface arranged for reciprocating thereafter.
3. A cylinder assembly according to claim 1 or claim 2,wherein a cylinder body has a liner; the liner defining a noncylindrical its inner surface being adapted to receive a piston; the piston being positioned in the liner arranged for reciprocating movement therein.
4. A cylinder assembly according to claim 3, in which the liner are formed from a plastic material selected from polyacetal resin, polycarbonate resin, or either of these containing lubrication oil.
5. A noncircular cylinder substantially as described herein with reference to Figures 1-5 of the accompanying drawing.
