Abstract

Amplifier circuit arranged for low H.T. voltage operation across a wide voltage range, and for low quiescent current drain. The amplifier circuit comprises a biasing circuit (section 1) advantageously arranged to give a stable quiescent current and optimised for low H.T. voltage and variation in H.T. voltage. This biases a split phase amplifier stage (section 2), which is also advantageously optimised for this operation. Signal input (section 4) and output stages (section 3) are also included.
