Description
6 11 22M2269 "COUPLING UNIT FOR COMPOSING TUBULAR SUPPORT STRUCTURES FOR
LIGHTING ASSEMBLIES" The present invention is concerned with a coupling u nit for composing tubular support structures for supporting lighting assemblies, in particular for outdoor application.
At pres ent, for lighting assemblies however show a poor it possible on. ly accomplished for such shapes are of Furthermore L ighting outdoor areas, mo,dular are already known 12úr_at, which flexibility in use, in that they make a limited number of shapes to be the same assemblies, in particular if the- "in-bunches" type.
the structures of the coupling assemblies show a 1 so that positioning the lighting bodies considerable cantilever length relatively to the support pole is not possible, with a further considerable limitation in the configurations which can be obtained in the lighting assemblies.
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a coupling unit for the composition of tubular support structures for lighting assemblies, capable of overcoming the previously mentioned drawbacks.
These purposes are achieved tubular eUement imited mechanical stiffness, w i t h a by a coupling unit for structures comprising at least and at least a tubular element and removably jointed to the characterized in that it -is oupling box-shaped hollow outl the composition of tubular a fixed tubular element, supporting a lighting body., fixed tubular element, provided with at least one c el having two circle-arc-shaped ines opposite to each other, and at least two further box-shaped coupling ement 2.
k elements, each provided with at least one circle-arcshaped hollow outline, with one of the two circle-arcshaped hollow outlines of th.e double- circle-arc-shaped hollow outline coupling element associating with the circle-arc-shaped hollow outline of one of said furtAher coupling element s, concurring to form a first c(amping ring for clamping the same elements against said fixed tubular element, with the other one of said two circlearc-shaped hollow outlines.of the box-shaped coupling element associating with the circle-arc-shaped holldw outline of the other one of said further coupling elements, concurring to form a further clamping ring, for clamping said elements against said tubular element supporting a lighting body.
The advantages achieved according to the present invention consist in that ligthing units can be composed according to many phantasy configurations, in particular of the "in-bunches" type.
Furthermore, the possibility of supporting each lighting body of the assembly wi'th a 'considerable cantilever length facilitates the adoption of bodies with large overall dimen-sions.
Finally, the considerable flexibility of use makes it possible each lighting body to be positioned at different heights along the support pole, with considerable advantages from the view point of lighting technique.
The iDresent invention is explained in greater detai 1 in the following disclosure, with the aid of the drawings which represent an example of practical embodiment thereof.
