Abstract

The locking system gives greater security to garage doors by providing locking points in three locations, i.e. at the top centre, and at each side toward the lower corner, using solid steel locking bars. It is operated by a quadrant which is attached to a commercial, 'pull-turn' internal handle. When the internal handle and quadrant assembly (item 1) is pulled out and rotated, all three locking bars (items 2 and 3) are operated simultaneously. <IMAGE>

Description

TRIPLE POINT LOCKING SYSTEM.
The object of this system is to give greater security to garage doors by providing locking points in three locations, i.e. at the top centre, and at each side towards the lower corner, using solid steel locking bars.
It is operated by a quadrant which is attached to a commercial, 'pull-turn' internal handle. When the internal handle and quadrant assembly (item 1) is pulled out and rotated, all three locking bars (items 2 and 3) are operated simultaneously.

Claims (2)

  1. This invention relates to a triple point locking system.
    The object of the system is to give greater security to garage doors by providing locking points in three locations, i.e. at the top centre, and at each side towards the lower corner, using solid steel locking bars.
    It is operated by a quadrant which is attached to a commercial, 'pull-turn' internal handle. When the internal handle and quadrant assembly (item 1) is pulled out and rotated, all three locking bars (items 2 and 3) are operated simultaneously.
