Abstract

219,251. Adelmann, H. Feb. 5, 1924. Pressing-and-cooking apparatus.-The body portion of a boiler or cooker for meat &c. has, a longitudinal fixed vertical partition 13, Fig. 3, and the cover part 14 is formed with a depending part 16 spaced sufficiently to one side of the centre to fit within and co-operate with the body part whichever may round the cover is fitted in place. The cover has a depending flange adapted slidably to engage the sides of the vessel and carries a yieldingly supported bar 17 to the ends of which are pivoted rack members 23 the teeth of which are adapted to engage under depressions or lips 12, Fig. 2, formed in the centre portions of the end flanges of the vessel.
