218,891. Gladwell, H. D. Oct. 3, 1923. Sweepers.-A crumb brush and tray comprises an open or closed casing 6 provided with a tapering brush 1 driven by the movements of the implement by means of a friction wheel 7 secured at the smaller end of the brush. The brush may be formed as shown with bristles held by twisted wires, or it may consist of a wooden core spirally wound with spaced strips composed of pile fabric or of bristles held by twisted wires.
