Description

SPECIFICATION The driving mechanism for the body of active doll This invention relates to the driving mechanism for the body of active doll.
To date, there are many types of dolls with active limb whose internal active mechanism is composed of gear sets or combined with cam sets only. The most popular method of driving mechanismforac- tive limb doll is designed such that a motor reduces its speed by the using of a complicated gear set and subsequently drives an eccentric to actuate the swing level of the active doll body. This type of the device is not only very difficult but also very expens ive for assembling and manufacturing.
To provide different extent of exaggerated body motion of the doll, separated devices shall be provided such as different configuration space and differentstructure of swing arm length. Therefore, the design is troublesome and not economical.
Accordingly, the principal purposes of this invention is to improve the driving mechanism for active doll body, which provides with a simple connecting level mechanism and reaches the goal of driving the body motion by the means of motor speed reduction gear set, and reduces the cost significantly.
Another purpose of this invention is to provide a device which can tune the motion amplitude ofthe doll body easily.
According to the invention, there is provided an driving mechanism for the body of active doll including a support bracket inside the doll to support a space; a driving device fixed at the bottom of the support bracket to drive a support plate inside the space of the support bracket and a revolving level pivoted at the revolving end of revolving support plate penetrates through support bracket and juts outthetopofthesupportbracket;; an acting shaft connected with driving device and with revolving support plate at the bottom of revolving level which drives revolving level to revolve around the acting shaft of the driving device, the top of revolving level penetrates through the neck portion ofthe support bracket as a support point and the revolving level extends to jut out the top end of the support bracket such thatthe head of doll can be adapted to it and the head of the doll, therefore, can revolve with revolving support plate and revolving level synchronously, which is described above is regarded as the characteristic of this invention.
The invention will now be further described, by way of example, with reference to the drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of the support bracketofthis invention; Figure2 is a front view of the support bracket of this invention; Figure 3 is a frontview of the relationship of all the support points ofthis invention; and Figure 4is a top viewofthe relationship of all the support points ofthis invention.
As shown in Figure 1, this invention provides a supportbrakcet 10, and a base plate 15 adapted below it, wherein the center of base plate 15 is a reserved hole and a motor speed reduction gear set 40 is installed below the base plate 15. The acting shaft 23 of the motor speed reduction gear set 40 pen etratesthrough the reserved hole ofthe base plate 15, then is adapted with a revolving support plate 22 at its top end, wherein described the other end of revolving support plate 22 is adapted at the bottom of revolving level 20.The top of revolving level 20 penetrates through the neck support bracket 12, gasket ring 14, and head support bracket 13, then a pin 21 inserts into the revolving level 20 at appropriate posi- tion. As shown in Figure 2, another pin 21 a is used at the bottom of neck support bracket 12 to fix the corresponding position between neck support bracket 12 and revolving level 20. In addition, both two sides ofsupport bracket are pivoted with an revolving type arm support level 30 respectively which penetrates the reserved hole of support bracket shoulder 11 and bends outward appropriately as an arm swing level 31.Moreover, the bottom 30a of arm support level 30 equips with a screw 33, or equivalent items such as a pin, to fix the position in order to prevent arm support level 30 from removing away support bracket 10 during revolution. The inner sides of described arm support levels 30 are welded with close type hoop levels 32 respectively and two hoop levels 32 slip together on the mentioned revolving level 20.
As the invention connectswiththe power source, the motor speed reduction gear set 40 is started immediately, and the acting shaft 23 drives the revolving support plate 22 to revolve with respect to axle 23 as a center point. Furthermore, the bottom 20a of revolving level 20 is driven to revolve synchronously.
Thus, the top end 20b of described revolving level 20 also can revolve to drive the motion of doll head.
Meanwhile two hoop levels are driven to swing to and fro such that the arm support levels 30 revolve to and fro simultaneously and arm swing levels 31 swing to and fro accordingly. Since the mentioned arm swing levels 31 is slipped with the doll arms, the doll arms therefore swing to and fro.
As shown in Figure 3, the front view ofthe relationship of all the support points ofthis invention, habe is analogous to Aedc, therefore, A/B = C/D, i.e. A = A x C/D. Based on this relationship, the magnitude of arc diameter A of the doll head swinging change's with the length of revolving support plate 22, i.e. B/2, the length from the top 20b of the revolving level 20 to nceksupport bracket 12, i.e. C, and the length from the bottom 20a of the revolving level 20to nceksupport bracket, 12, i.e. D. If the swing arc of the doll head is desiredto change, onlytuning the revolving radius of revolving support plate 22from theslip hole of acting shaft 23 ofthe motor speed reduction gearset40totheslip hole of revolving level 20 and revolving support plate 22 or changing the distance between neck support bracket 12 and revolving support plate 22 is required. Thus, the fabrication is very simple, and the cost is reduced significantly because that the mold for manufacturing gear set or cam is not needed.
According to Figure 3, it is understood that the closer the position of hoop level 32 approaches the base plate 15, the greaterthe effective arc length E of hoop level 32 driven by the revolving circle ofthe re voiving level 20 is, vice versa. The Figure 4 shows thatthe E valve increases with the corresponding angle a and swing amplitude ofthe driven arm swing level 31, vice versa. Based on the Figure 3, the distance between hoop level 32 to base plate 15 is F. As Fchanges,theswingamplitudeofarmlevel3l also changes such that the greater the distance F is, the smallertheswing amplitude of arm swing level 31 is.
To change swing amplitude ofthe arm, it is only required to changethe distance F between hoop level 32 and base plate 15. In other words, changing the constant elevations of hoop level 32 and arm support level 30 is enough. If it is desired to let arms swing with various angles a due to the different con- figurations ofthe doll such as bear, angel, Santa Claus, etc., it can swiftly change during producing stage by using the specific structure ofthis invention. Contrastto this invention, the conventional design requires to redesign the gearsignificantly.
This invention is an improvement for the structure of body driving mechanism of dolls that is a simple connecting level mechanism installed on a support bracket whose bottom is equipped with a motor speed reduction gear set 40 as a transmission source to transmit and to drive revolving level 20 for revolution. Besides, the top 20b of the revolving level 20 connects the doll head which is driven to rotate by means ofthe revolution of revolving level 20. Apply the transmission source 40 described above to drive revolving level 20 for revolution, the arm swing level 31 is driven to swing to and fro simultaneously bythe revolution of arm support level 30 driven by the hoop level 32 ofthe long hoop ring. The hands of a doll slip on the described arm swing levels such thatthe hands of doll can swing with arm swing levels. This invention as described above is a simple and new connecting level mechanism. Thus, the swing amplitudes of head and hands ofthe doll can change by means of simple redesign procedure, significant redesign or new devices not required.
This invention is to install a support bracket inside a doll in order to form a space, and be provided with a revolving level which is pivoted at the center of support bracket and revolving along conical orbit, and an arm support level with stationary revolution which is pivoted at two sides of the support bracket.
The revolving level and arm support levels are transmitted bytheconnecting level mechanism of a hoop level. The bottom of support bracket is provided with a motorspeed reduction gear set which is used for driving a revolving support plate to revolve and a hoop level to swing. This structure is fitted inside the doll body. First, the upperend of revolving level can connect with the head of doll and the arm support level can combine with the arm of doll. By means of supplying the electricity to move the motor, itwill make the head and hands of the doll to have a movement.
