Abstract

By a roller grating for burglar securing of show windows and with a rollable grating mat consisting of a number of mutually parallel profiles (8), which at opposite longitudinal sides have outwardly open, countersunk grooves (10), wherein opposite end portions of grating links (14) are pivotally embedded, suitable distance pieces moreover being introduced into the grooves (10), the profiles (8) have in addition a longitudinal cavity (16) being adapted for receiving a reinforcement (18) extending preferably along the entire profile (8), said reinforcement consisting of a cylindrical reinforcement rod (18) of hardened steel, preferably being rollably mounted in said cavity (16) of the profiles (8). Hereby is obtained a roller grating with the known and popular appearance and which nevertheless in a closed and safe manner can be reinforced by placing hardened steel rods in said cavity.
