Abstract

216,650. Sheldon, S. April 18, 1923. Head sets.-Comprises a pad for insertion between the springs of a telephone head set. An outer layer 5, Fig. 3, of leather may be stitched at 4 to an inner layer 6 of felt so as to leave a peripheral pocket in which the springs 2 can lie. Alternatively there may be an inner layer of felt, equal in thickness to the springs, sandwiched between two outer layers of leather or other material, which thus form a peripheral pocket for the springs while lying flush at their edges. In another modification a thick single layer of material may be split at its edges to form a groove.
