Stationary - mould machines; pressing plungers and dies.-In a machine for moulding pills, comprising a die x and upper and lower punches e, d, the face of the upper punch e is shaped to mould one hemisphere of the pill, while the lower punch d is shaped to mould only a portion of the lower hemisphere, the remainder of the pill being moulded by suitably shaping the lower end of the die x whereby the moulded pill can be swept from the surfaceof the raised punch d by the nose of the filling member c, without further ejecting mechanism.
