Description

SPECIFiCATION Car, vehicle or freestanding mascot with provision for adding initials, name, sign or any message required, and provision for allowing different mascot bodys to be interchanged with a mascot base The invention relates to a car, vehicle or freestanding mascot with provision for adding initials, name, sign or message desired to the body or base of the mascot, or any other part of the mascot. These can be fixed in any way suitable to allow them to be fixed or removed as desired.
The invention also relates to the mascot body being interchangable with a mascot base. This allows a variety of mascot bodys to be used with only one base if desired.
The mascot body is also allowed to be moved from a static position to the base, and from this alternative position will return to its origonal position when released.
The mascot may be of any shape or form desired, and the initials or other items attached can also be of any shape or form desired.
One particular embodiment of the invention is shown and described in detail, although it will be understood that many modifications and changes can be made in the details of construction without departing from the spirit of invention.
Figure 1 shows a front view of the mascot body with initials fixed and mounted on the mascot base.
Figure 2 shows a side view of Fig. 1.
Figure 3 shows the mascot body before being mounted onto the mascot base.
Figure 4 shows the mascot base without the mascot body fixed.
Figure 5 shows the initials before being fixed to the mascot body.
Figure 6 shows a cross section of the mascot base fixed to a car panel, as well as showing the underside fixings of the base, which are not shown in Fig. 1, Fig. 2, or Fig.
4.
Refering to the drawing the mascot is of an oblong shape Fig. 1, this is fixed to the mascot base in any method desired, such as glued together.
Fig. 1 also shows the initials fixed to the mascot, these can also be glued if desired.
Fig. 3 shows how the mascot is fixed to the base in the required position, using a matching hole 1 for the base.
Fig. 6 shows a cross section of the base fixed to a car panel. The base 2 is pushed through a washer 3 and pushed through the hole in the panel previously drilled. Nut 4 is then attached to base 2 to secure the base.
Wire grip 6 is attached to spring 5 as shown to cause the base to return to the position show in pushed away from said position.
1. A car, vehicle or freestanding mascot which allows initials, name, message, sign or script to be fixed to the mascot as desired.
2. A car, vehicle or freestanding mascot as claimed in claim 1, in which the mascot body can be interchangable with other mascot bases.
3. A car, vehicle or freestanding mascot as claimed in claims 1 and 2, with a feature which returns the mascot body to its origonal position on the base if the mascot body is moved from that position.
