The upper end of the shaft a carries a rotatable cupshaped member h which can be fixed by a clamp r and which supports a perforated member s adapted to receive the bucket to which it can be fixed temporarily by screws. passing through the perforations. The member s is movable in all directions in the cup h but can be fixed in any position by a member z and a screw 4 which screws into a plug 6 fixed in the shaft a. The shaft a may be constructed to represent the lower portion of an artificial leg and joints may be interposed between the shaft and the universal joint h.
