Trousers; legs.-A pad adapted to be secured inside the knees of trousers to prevent bagging is formed from two pieces of material shown respectively in Figs. 1 and 2, of which one piece is longer than the other. Strips of tape are stitched to the smaller piece as indicated by the horizontal and diagonal lines F E, K L &c., Fig. 2. The larger piece is placed over the smaller piece, with the tapes between, so as to extend one inch above and half an inch below the smaller piece. The pieces are then secured' together by stitching through the horizontal strips of tape, the half-inch extension being folded over and secured by the lowest line of stitching. Two diagonal seams are then made, as shown in Fig. 1, the point of intersection of these seams being the knee point. The pad is sewn into the side seams of the trousers at the knee, and the extended part of the larger piece is secured' across the leg by rubber-solutioned tape or by handfelling.
