Abstract

The trolley is made especially larger in order to carry up to sixty kilos weight of shopping for the housewife with a large family. It has the convenience of being able to fold two of its wheels away and so thus be used on two. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Four wheel shopping trolley The four wheel shopping trolley is constructed of metal tubing-half inch and three quarter inch tubing.

It is so constructed that it may be used with two wheels, the rear pair being folded back out of the way (see Figure 1) being held in place by a small pin.

When transporting a large amount of shopping, the two rear wheels may be brought into use, being held in place by a metal bar (see also Figure 1).

The trolley holds a large bag (or holdall) see Figure 2-with a large pocket at the front.

The size of the trolley may be varied, according to taste, but the proto-type is twenty-one inches (533 mm) in height, not including the handle, the width eighteen inches (457 mm), and the diameter of the wheels, ten and one half inches (267 mm).

Figure three shows the front dimensions of the trolley. Figure 4 shows details of the spring clips placed across the back of the trolley to prevent the loss or spillage of goods being carried.

Figure 5 shows the rear view of the trolley.

Details of this trolley are contained in Figs. 1 to 5.

Figs. 6 to 8 illustrate the trolley as described in Figs. 1 to 5 but with a different type of handle, the dimensions otherwise being the same.
