Abstract

A medicine for the treatment of malaria has the ingredients Epsom Salts, Steel powder, Cinnamon, Cloves, Akzen gefil and Karamazé, preferably in the proportions 2:2:1:1.

Description

SPECIFICATION A medicine This invention relates to a medicine which has been found effective against malaria, and which is believed to have properties which will combat other diseases.
According to the present invention there is provided a medicine composed of the following ingredients: Epsom Salts 1 part Steel Powder 1 part Cinnamon 1/2 part Cloves 1/2 part Akzen gefil 1/2 part Karamazé 1/2 part It is to be understood that these proportions may be varied within limits, and although the extremes have not yet been ascertained, it is thought that 25% variation will be permissible.
The first four ingredients are familiar substances readily available.
Akzen gefil is extremely finely ground dog motion of the kind that is produced after the dog has chewed and digested raw bones. This is practically dry and light beige in colour.
Karamazé is pulped worms, particularly the common red garden worms.
The ingredients do not have to be mixed in any particular order, or treated in any way other than being very finely ground or pulped. When thoroughly mixed, they can be compressed into capsules or pills.
For a single course of treatment, a single part of the mixture may be 3.54 grams (or 1 dram) and a haif part consequently 1.77 grams (or 1/2 dram). This will make twelve adult ortwentyfour children's pills. The dosage for adults is two per day, for six days, and for malaria the treatment should be commenced when the initial fever drops. The dosage for children is two per day for twelve days.
CLAIMS (Filed on 11 Feb 1983) 1. A medicine comprising the following ingredients: Epsom salts, Steel powder, Cinnamon, Cloves, Akzen gefil and Karamazé.
2. A medicine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the proportions are one part each of Epsom Salts and Steel powder and half part each of the other ingredients.
