Abstract

A tissue cassette (1) for use in the processing and/or storage of the tissues of organisms comprises a perforated base (2) bounded by an upstanding wall (3) and has means (4, 5) for engaging another such cassette for stacking. Such stacking may be accomplished base to open face and/or open face to open face. The latter arrangement doubles the storage capacity available for a sample. <IMAGE>
