Abstract

A method of installing a cable (16) at a spaced position from an apertured or slotted support (17) is distinguished by using a resilient spring clip (11) comprising two arms (12) which are jointed at one end and which have extensions (13) at their free ends at an angle to the arms. The arms have a shaped portion (14) at the joined ends within which the cable can be secured. The arms can move relative to one another against the resilience of the clip for passing each extension through an aperture (18) or slot in the support, and then released so they tend to spring back with each extension engaging a wall of the support to secure the clip to the support. <IMAGE>
