Abstract

210,237. Smith, Ltd., J., and Smith, J. Dec. 9, 1922. Key rings.-A split ring for keys &c., made from a single length of wire bent round into coils which are stamped close together, has recesses 5, 6, Fig. 2, cut in, or radial projections 9, Fig. 4, formed on, the outer edge of the contacting surfaces 7, 8 of the coils to facilitate insertion or withdrawal of the key. A key or finger nail is inserted into the recess or between the projections and turned to raise the end of the coil. The recesses may extend completely across the surfaces 7, 8 if required. Specification 23764/13 is referred to.
