Abstract

A joint for connecting the high-voltage winding terminal of a generator to a cable comprises a housing (1) inside which are placed the terminal (5) of the high-voltage winding of the generator with screens (6) and the terminal part (3) of the cable, the current conducting parts (8) of which are connected through a power jumper (9). Each screen (6) of the terminal (5) of the high-voltage winding of the generator has a needed value of the electric potential. A condensator splicing (4) of the terminal (5) of the high-voltage winding of the generator carries contact rings (12) each of them being connected to the corresponding screen (6) of the terminal (5) of the high-voltage winding of the generator. The condensator splicing (4) of the terminal part (3) of the cable carries contact rings (12) connected to its plates (11), whereas the contact rings (12) equidistant from the planes passing through the beginning of the condensator splicings (7, 4) of the terminal (5) of the high-voltage winding of the generator and of the terminal part (3) of the cable are interconnected through jumpers (13).
