Abstract

Extincteurs.-In extinguishers adapted to be inverted to cause two solutions to mix to produce foam &c. the inner vessel is left open at the top and is held on a seating on the bottom of the outer vessel by a positioning device attached to, or held by, the cover of the outer vessel. As shown, fingers attached to the cap c support a ring c<2> which carries the V-shaped centring- dtvice d by screw clips d<1>. More than one V- shaped wire or plate mav be used. Instead of being attached to the cap the V-shaped wire may be supported from a ring clamped in position by the screwed-on cap. In a further modification. a fitting around the neck of the open-topped vessel may be used, this ring being connected to an upper ring secured in position by the screwing-on of the cap of the outer vessel.
