Abstract

A photographic work wallet has a wallet part (1) for receiving film and/or pictures and having a front side and a rear side, and a documentation part (3) which can readily be folded back along a bending perforation (4) and/or fold or the like onto the rear side of the wallet part (1) for connection thereto. After being folded back, the documentation part (3) is retained in that position by two self-adhesive locations (5, 5' and 6, 6'). A window (2) is provided in the front side of the wallet part (1). <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Photographic Work Wallet Having a Documentation Part This invention relates to a photograph work wallet having: a wallet part for receiving film and/or pictures and having a front side and a rear side; and a documentation part which can preferably be automatically inscribed and read and is preferably reinforced by glueing the front side and rear side in this zone.
One disadvantage of a known photographic work wallet of the kind specified is that, more particularly when the wallet part contains a large number of pictures, the documentation part applied to the wallet part bends over. In that case, the work wallets have different heights and are very difficult to handle when filed. When they are being pulled out, the bent-over documentation part may also pull up the adjacent wallet with it; the filing retrieval of such photographic work wallets is therefore unsatisfactory.
The present invention aims so to improve a photographic work wallet of the kind specified that it can be filed in a very space-saving and easily surveyable manner and can readily be removed individually from between other photographic work wallets.
To this end, according to the invention, there is provided a photographic work wallet having: a wallet part for receiving film and/or pictures and having a front side and a rear side; and a documentation part which can readily be folded back along a bending perforation and/or fold or the like on to the rear side of the wallet part for connection thereto, and after being folded back is retained in that position via at least one selfadhesive location.
For the processing of the photographs, the photographic work wallet can be used with a documentation part which is disposed in the prolongation of the wallet part and can be automatically inscribed for invoicing purposes.
After the inscription has been applied, the documentation part can simply be folded over and glued to the rear side of the wallet part. This somewhat shortens the photographic work wallet, which can readily be accommodated in a space-saving manner, the readily bendable documentation part representing no sort of obstacle.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, two self-adhesive locations are provided in the lower zone of the lateral edges of the wallet part.
The invention will now be further described, by way of example, with reference to the drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a plan view of one embodiment of a photographic work wallet according to the invention; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation, taken in the direction shown by the arrow II in Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawings, a photographic work wallet has a wallet part 1 formed by a front side and rear side (not given reference numbers) and having a window 2. Below the wallet part 1 , the front and rear sides are glued to one another to form a documentation part 3. The documentation part 3 is connected to the wallet part 1 via a bending perforation 4 and can be readily folded over on to the rear side of the wallet part 1, as can be seen in Fig. 2.
Provided in the lower zone of the outer edges of the wallet part 1 and documentation part 3 are self-adhesive panels or locations 5, 5', 6, 6' by which, after the documentation part 3 has been folded over on to the wallet part 1 on completion of processing, the wallet can be glued for filing. In the folded up condition, the front side together with the documentation part 3 can be automatically inscribed in a very simple manner, and then the documentation part 3 can be automatically read for invoicing purposes either in the original condition or folded over. Owing to the glueing, the documentation part 3 cannot become undesirably caught up with other photographic work wallets, and the bending over process reduces the filing height required, so that filing can be carried out in a space-saving manner even in relatively low drawers or on relatively low shelves.
The upper part of the wallet can have various tear-off portions, in conventional manner, as may be required.
