Abstract

The walking aid consists of two U-shaped cantilevered sections, the forward section 13 having the open end of the U-shaped tubing at the top, and the rear section 5 having the open end at the bottom and being bent inwards to form rubber cupped feet 11. The top cantilevered part of the rear section is held on the outside of the forward section by pivot pins 4, the two sections being held apart by a foldable bracing stay 10 pivoted on the outside of the lower forward and rear section 5, the forward section carrying two wheels 8 pivotally mounted on the inside of the cantilevered part of the section. The frame is adjustable for height, and is fitted with two rubber braking shoes 9 at the front underside of the front section. <IMAGE>
