Description

SPECIFICATION The web fingered glove This article is basically a glove with a web between the fingers and the thumb. It is designed to be worn by someone taking part in water activities, such as swimming, and is intended to assist the wearer in moving more effectively through the water. Ob- viously, it is expected to be used by the wearer, in twos, as a pair, one on each hand.
The essential feature of the glove is the web, which may be complete; as from the tip of one digit to the next, or partial, as from some point away from the tip to a corresponding place on the adjacent digit. Similarly it may be completely closed to the passage of water or air through it, or it may incorporate some degree of perforation, or a combination of the above features.
1. A swimming aid in the form of a glove, having at least one web extending between two adjacent finger portions of the glove.
2. A swimming aid according to claim 1, in which there are provided webs extending between each of the finger portions.
3. A swimming aid according to ciaim 1 or 2 in which the, or each web is attached by stitching to the finger portions.
