Abstract

207,323. Hughes, I. Oct. 6, 1922. Board games.-A board for playing chess or draughts is provided with mirrors in which a player may obtain a reversed view of the board. The board 14, Fig. 1, is enclosed in a casing 1 to the opposite sides of which two frames 11 carrying mirrors a are hingedly attached. A drawer 3, Fig. 2, is provided in the casing below the board. The mirrors are retained at a suitable angle to the board either by a projection 12 on the mirror frame engaging the side of the casing or by a slotted member 15 and set screws 16, Fig. 11. The mirror frames may form a lid for the casing while the board is not in use.
