Abstract

A picture frame comprising a symmetrical frame profile (1) with two recesses (2, 3). Both recesses may be used as means for inserting a picture or as means for mounting corner joints, suspension fittings, and upright fittings. The shape of the frame profile implies that both sides of the frame may be used as front, and only one cutting per frame side is necessary for shaping the frame. Therefore one picture frame permits choosing between two different visual angles of the frame. Furthermore, the frame may be used as a turnable frame with a picture on both sides. Such a frame is moreover easy to manufacture at the same time as waste of material is avoided. A suspension of the frame by means of a ball (8) surrounded by a cord (9) implies that the picture frame permits adjustment of the height from a permanent suspension point.
