Description
SPECIFICATION
Parrarra
This game can be played by any number of people. The game consists of a dart or target board which is placed on the ground, an adjustable arm rest and three Parra Arrows. The idea of the game is for the player to rest his hand on the arm rest and let his Parra Arrow float down over the dart ortarget board to get the best score possible. The Parra
Arrow consists of a metal or wooden or plastic shank with a point at one end. On the other end of the shank there is an umbrella or spherical type apparatus some 6in in diameter which forms a parachute type apparatus to give the floating effect, as opposed to the flight of a conventional dart.To play you acquire three Parra Arrows, the hand to be used is rested on the adjustable rest, you then allow your first Parra Arrow to float down over the target or dart board, the skill is to score as many points as possible with your three Parra Arrows. The score is noted and the next person has a go. The game of Parra Arrow continues until a figure of say 300 is reached. The person achieving that number first being the winner.
The adjustable support for the arm is an apparatus consisting of a weighted base having a pole protruding upwards from its centre and on the protruding pole an adjustable support at right angles to the pole. The dart ortarget board consists of an apparatus some 2" thick, and made of wood, cork or soft plastic compound and shaped circular or clover or shamrock with numbers from 1 to 50, with an outside diameter of some 36 inches. Ideally the arm rest would be some 48 inches directly above the dart or target board.
That the dart game I call Parrarra is an apparatus which is shamrock, clover, oval, triangular or square in shape. Having a brissel or cork surface. About two inches in thickness. I call it the target. And the first part of a three part apparatus. A pole about 40 inches high with an arm rest a-i its top is the second part of the game and a Parrarra forms the last part. The
Parrarra is an apparatus having a point at one end and a canopy forming a parachute at the other end.
The player of Parrarra simply holds his Parrarra in his hand rests his hand on the wrist support atop the pole and allows the Parrarra to drop onto the target which is divided in such a way as to allow a player the facility of scoring from three up to 100. Depending upon his skill.
