Abstract

A composition for keeping down dust when sweeping or cleaning consists of a mixture of sawdust, sand, calcium chloride, naphthalene, camphor, and petroleum. A trace of essential oil may be added. It is preferably kept in tins having lids, or pads under the lids, soaked in glycerine or calcium chloride.
