Abstract

The stopper of synthetic reinforced fabric to block circular tunnels, pipes etc. consists of a cylindrical section which when inflated (pressurised) fits tightly to the circular tunnel or pipe. Inside the cylindrical section there are few horizontal compartments 1,4,3 with semi-circular profile at each end. Passing through the central compartment along the central axis of the tunnel is a circular tube 5 and the semi-circular ends of the stopper (central compartment) are attached to the tube with freely movable clamps 8. For pressurising the stopper each compartment has a controllable nipple. For transporting the stopper in the tunnel wheels 6 are attached to the tube. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Stopper Out of Synthetic Fabric to Block Circular Pipes, Tunnels, Penstocks etc.
The cylindrical part (1) of the inflatable stopper out of synthetic material on pressurizing with water or air rests tightly to the wall of circular tunnel. There are two semicircular sections at the ends of the cylindrical part. The stopper can have one or few compartments (3, 4). The main cylindrical compartment (4) has a circular pipe (5) along the central axis. Wheels (6) for transporting are fixed to the pipe (5) at the ends. Both semicircular ends of the main compartment (4) have two movable rings (8) for fixing to the pipe with the help of device (7). Pressurizing of main compartment (4) is done with the help of flexible pipe (9) inside pipe (5). Other compartments have the nipples ( 10) for pressurizing.
Cylindrical part of the Stopper has few parallel layers of Synthetic Fabric (Compartments), each layer has a circular section at each end. The stopper has a circular tube along the central axis to move the stopper and for fixing it with movable shafts. Wheels for moving are attached to the ends of the tube.
Claims
1. Inflatable stopper with one (or more) cylindrical part with two semicircular sections at ends can block a circular tunnel or pipe.
2. The stopper has a device along the central axis for transporting.
