Abstract

A swimming pool comprises a circular supporting wire mesh wall 10 with a plastics lining 11 on the inside of the wall and on the base of the space enclosed by the wall. That part of the lining which lines the wall is made of a transparent vinyl plastics. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Reservoirs lined with plastics This invention relates to reservoirs lined with plastics and particularly to such reservoirs as are suitable to be used as free standing swimming pools.
According to the invention a plastics lined free standing reservoir comprises upstanding side walls which comprise a wire mesh, and the walls of the reservoir being lined with a plastics material of which at least a part is substantially transparent.
Preferably the plastics liner is manufactured from a vinyl plastics material. The side walls may comprise a circular mesh frame.
The invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a pool according to the invention, and Figure 2 is a fragmentary section of a side wall of the pool.
The illustrated swimming pool formed with an upstanding circular steel mesh frame 10 and the inside of the frame and the base upon which it rests are lined with plastics 11. The plastics of the base may be opaque while the plastics lining the wall is clear vinyl plastics.
1. A plastics lined free standing reservoir having upstanding side walls comprising a wire mesh, and the walls of the reservoir being lined with a plastics material of which at least a part is substantially transparent.
2. A plastics lined reservoir as claimed in claim 1 in which the mesh comprising the upstanding side walls is a circular frame.
3. A plastics lined reservoir substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawing.

SPECIFICATION Reservoirs lined with plastics This invention relates to reservoirs lined with plastics and particularly to such reservoirs as are suitable to be used as free standing swimming pools. According to the invention a plastics lined free standing reservoir comprises upstanding side walls which comprise a wire mesh, and the walls of the reservoir being lined with a plastics material of which at least a part is substantially transparent. Preferably the plastics liner is manufactured from a vinyl plastics material. The side walls may comprise a circular mesh frame. The invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a pool according to the invention, and Figure 2 is a fragmentary section of a side wall of the pool. 1. A plastics lined free standing reservoir having upstanding side walls comprising a wire mesh, and the walls of the reservoir being lined with a plastics material of which at least a part is substantially transparent.
2. A plastics lined reservoir as claimed in claim 1 in which the mesh comprising the upstanding side walls is a circular frame.
3. A plastics lined reservoir substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
