Abstract
A slotted fastener is provided with inclined surfaces to the slot, so that the fastener can be tightened but not loosened by a tool engaging the slot. <IMAGE>
Description
SPECIFICATION
Unidirectional Slot or Slots for All Rotational
Fixing Devices
The Invention is for the manufacture of varieties of rotational fixing devices that have a unidirectional slot or slots, raised bump or lump/s, or indentation cut or formed on or in the tightening or slackening head or face etc. of the device. The form will be so that the direction of desired rotation will be faced with a vertical or at least resistant face whilst in the opposite direction.
There will be an inclined plane as illustrated in diagram No. 1.
The fixing device whilst being able to be inserted and tightened in the desired direction would not be able to be removed by attempts to rotate it in the opposite direction by means of inserting some form of "Tool" in the slot etc.
The slots may be straight or irregular to assist with tightening, especially with mechanical means, a small hole or indentation may be made in the centre of the head to assist with the location and retention of the tightening blade. A reversal of direction would of course eject the blade up the inclined plane.

Claim
The use of this type of uni directional rotational slot or slots on rotational fixing devices will prevent unourthorised persons from removing or slackening said fixing devices without specialised equipment. The provision of an inclined plane opposite a vertical plane or risen edge in any type of slot whether single slot, multi slot, straight curved, on face recessed into face, on edge, inside or outside the perimeter of the fixing device with or without a central hole or indentation will have the same desired effect.
