Description
SPECIFICATION
Distinctly Readable at a Distance in the Night
Road Motor Vehicle Registration Licence
Number Plate
The following specification particularly describes and asceetains the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
This invention relates to Road Motor Vehicle
Registration Licence Number Plate, the registration Licence number of the Road Motor
Vehicle to able to be read destinctly at a distance in the night.
The object of this invention is to provide an arrangement to distinctly be able to read at a distance in the night the Road Motor Vehicle
Registration Licence Number Plate It can also be read distinctly in the day time as well.
The object of this invention is achieved by making light reflected with the help of a coiicave or convex, or plane surface highly powerful mettalic reflector as shown in the diagram. The powerful beam of light falls on the behind surface of the licence number plate which is made up of plastic or its derivatives. The colour of the numbers and alphabets of the licence number plate are translucent or opaque while the colours of back ground of the licence no. plate is translucent or opaque depending on a country 5 Road Traffic regulations for motor vehicles. This depends on the colours required for the no and alphabates and the colours for the background of the licence No. plate which depends on a country's Road Traffic Regulation for Motor vehicles. The required registratiom licence No. of a Motor vehicle in a country complying to a country's Road traffic regulatioms, is cut out on the background licence no. plate and then the licence no. and alphabets which are convex surfaced and made of thiner then the background no plates and are slightly bigger sizes to the cut out surface. They are made of plastic or or its derivativs and are firmly fixed with and adhesive from inside the surface of the background of the licence plate. The nos and alphabates are of slightly bigger in size of the cut-out background surface of the no. plates. This licence no plate is firmly fastened on to metalic box which houses the metalic reflector with the help of a chrome plated metal border frame. As shown in the diagram this metal border frame as one or more to its four side metal brackets or angles one side of which fastens with the help of a screw or bolts the border frame to the metalic box. The light is provided by one or more electric bulbs fitted inside the concave surfaces of the light metalic reflector. This electric bulbs are connected by electric wires in electrical circuit to the common head and tail lights switch of the motor vehicle and then to the motor vehicle battery. This metalic reflector is firmly fastened to its only inside surface of the metalic box with the help of screw or nut and bolt. This metalic box of the lighted from behind registration licence no. plates is firmly fastened with the help of metal brackets and screws or nuts and bolts. On its top or behind sides of the metalic box to the front bumper of a motor vehicle while a duplicate to its back bumper. Or the Registration Licence No plates can be embed into the bumpers of a motor vehicle depending on the design of the motor vehicle.
In order that the invention may be carried into effect it will be now described in detail by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings wherein the like reference num-erals always indicate the same parts througy out the description of the drawings in which Fig. 1 shown front view of the device. Fig. 2 shown also front view of the device but with the metal border frame and the plastic or its derivatives registration licence no. plate removed Fig. 3 shows sectional view of the device Fig. 4. shows the Electrical series circuit.
In Fig. 1. the number 1 shows the chrome plated metal border frame. No.2. shows the background of the registration licence no. plate madeof plastic or its derivatives. No. 3 shows the nos and alphabets of the registration licence number of a Motor Vehicle. The Registration
Licence No plates is made of plastic or its derivativs. To be able to the distinctly at a distance in the night the road motor vehicle licence no. plate depending on a country's road traffic regulations for motor vehicles:-- (a) According to a country's road traffic regulations if the required colour of the back ground of the licence no plates is of black colour and the alphabets and nos. of the registration licence no.
are of white colour then the background should be opaque. While the nos. and alphabets should be translucent so that the licence no. of a road motor vehicle can be distinctly read at a diatance in the night. It can as well be read distinctly in the day time. (b) If background is white colour and alphabets and numbers are balck colour then background is transulation and nos. and alphabets are opaque. (c) If the background is black colour and the nos and alphabets are yellow colour or its shades then background is opaque and nos. and alphabets are translucent (d) If background of the no plates is yellow colour or its shade and nos.
and alphabets are black then background is translucent nos. and alphabate opaque. (e) If the background is white colour and nos. alphabate are red then background is transucent and nos.
alphabets opaque.
In Fig. 2. the no. 1 shows a light thin plate strong mettalic box. It has depth of 2 or more c.m.
To its only inner plain surface is firmly fastened.
No.2. the concave high power mettalic relfactor.
No3 and No.4 No.7 and No.8 ar screws or nut and bolts which firmly fastened the metallic reflector to the mettalic box. No.5 and No.6 are the two electric bulbs which are firmly fixed into the concave reflecting surface of the mettalice reflector No.2 as shownin the diagram. No.5 and
No.6 electric bulbs are connected to the motor vehicle battery by wires.
In figure 3. No. 1 shows the metallic box with two or more metal brackets No.9.which are solder on the top or behind sides the mettalic box No.1 No.2 is the chrome platedmetal border frame
No.3 is the background of the plastic or its derivatives licence No. plates. The licence no.
plate made of plastic or its derivatives and is of 2 cm.
or more thickness. The background plate of the licence no. plate is cut out with the licence nos and letters require for a motor vehicle. No. 4 are the concex surface alphabets and nos. of the licence no. They are made of a thinner strong plastic or its dervaties than the background licence No. plate. The licence Number and alphabets are firmly fastened with an adhesive from the inner side of the cut out surface of the required licence No. of a motor vehicle to the back ground plare of the licence no. plate. To be able to distingly red at a distance in the night Nos. 3 and
No.4 are opaque or transulent depending on the requirements of a country's road traffic regulation.
No. 5 are the one or more electric bulbs connected with help of No.8 electric wire in an electrical circuit first to the common switch of the head and tail lights of the motor vehicle and then to its battery. No.6 and No.7 are the screwsor nut and bolts which firmly fastened the metallic concave teflector No.10 to the licence No. plate metallic box No. 1.
Fig. 4. shows the electrical series circuit. No.1 and No. 2 are electric bulbs of the required voltage connected with the help of wires No.3 in series circuit first to the common switch No.5 of the head and tail light of the motor vehicle and then connected to the terminals no. 4 of the motor vehicle battery. No.5. is the common switch for the distiently readable at a distance in the night road motor vehicle registration licence no. plates and the head and tail lights of the motor vehicle.
With the help of this descriptions and the diagrams the functions and its effective uses and the construction of the distinctly readable at a distance in the night Road Motor Vehicle registration licence no. plates and made clear.
It is evident that details of construction of their arangements may be modified in order to obtain the same result without exceeding the scope of the invention.
