Abstract

Compounds of general formula: <IMAGE> wherein A is -O- or -S- R is: (a) C1-C8 alkyl; C2-C8 alkenyl or C2-C8 alkynyl; (b) a cycloaliphatic radical containing 3 to 7 carbon atoms; (c) an aryl or an aryl-C1-C6-alkyl group, wherein the aryl groups can be unsubstituted or substituted by one or more substituents chosen from the group consisting of halogen, -NO2, cyano, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6-alkylthio, trihalomethyl, SO2CH3; Z is a branched or straight chain C1-C15 alkylene radical; each of the Y groups, which may be equal or different, is chosen from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, -NO2, cyano, C1-C2 alkyl, C1-C2 alkoxy, C1-C2 alkylthio, trihalomethyl, -SO2CH3 and phenyl, which may be unsubstituted or substituted by one or more halogen atoms; n is zero or an integer of 1 to 5, and a pharmaceutically or veterinarily acceptable salt thereof, are useful in treatment of surface and profound mycosis caused by fungi.
