Abstract

The handle is C-shaped and comprises a grip rail (1) and at each of its two ends a mounting base (2). The rail (1) is provided with a longitudinal groove (7) extending over at least a part of the rail's length into which is inserted a differently coloured and/or surface-finished profiled packing strip (8), at least the outer, or visible, face of which may be provided with a covering (14) of some soft material. The groove (7) may have a longitudinally extending web (10) for engaging a recess (11) along back of the strip (8). The handle may be provided with two integral lips (12), one at each end of the groove (7), to ensure that the strip (8) and its possible covering (14) will permanently be held in position. The groove (7) and the strip (8) therein may extend beyond the rail (1) to the outer ends of the mounting bases (2). <IMAGE>
