Abstract

An electronic timepiece comprises means for displaying time and calendar data digitally and means for displaying biorhythm cycles. In Figure 3, 36 is a calendar counter, 38 is a day of birth counter, 41 is a second calendar counter while 51 indicates biorhythm cycle counters. A biorhythm cycle display 63 is given by activation of liquid crystal elements along a sine wave curve, in dependence upon the state of a biorhythm cycle counter. Each biorhythm counter merely counts days in correspondence with the calendar counter 41, there being a 23 day cycle counter for 'physical' biorhythm, a 28 day cycle 'sensibility' counter and a 33 day cycle 'intelligence' counter. These counters are selectively coupled to the display, one of display elements P, S or indicating the biorhythm counter selected. The zero crossing points on the sine curve indicate days when special care is needed and outputs from the selected counter on that day cause an audible alarm and the flashing of element P, S or I. Present, past and future biorhythm cycles can be displayed. <IMAGE>
