Abstract
A control device 3 causes an electronic typewriter 2 to automatically print predesignated sequences of characters and graphics, and to perform other functions such as backspace, carrier return, and tabulation. The control device 3 interconnects with the electronic inputs to the electronic controls of the typewriter to simulate actual keyboarding which would normally be performed by an operator. The material which is simulated is permanently stored in a read only store or memory. The typed simulation, in conjunction with keyboard commands, facilitates the accurate, rapid and efficient demonstration of the capabilities of an electronic typewriter. <IMAGE>
