Abstract

Liquid pressurising apparatus comprises a housing 1, 2. A diaphragm assembly is trapped between two housing parts so as to define a pressurised gas chamber 1b and a liquid chamber at opposite sides of the diaphragm assembly. The diaphragm assembly comprises two membranes 3, 4 sandwiching a gas- absorbent insert 5 which is extended peripherally to the exterior of the housing.
