Abstract

In a screen printing machine, in order to permit a simple disassembly and replacement of the wiper blade (23) of a wiper holder (21), the holder (21) is provided with a holding slot (28) into which a holding portion (24) of the wiper blade (22) interlocks. The slot is preferably at least twice as wide as the blade thickness. The configuration of the slot and the blade holding portion is preferably such that there is contact at only three locations. Thus, the friction is low enough for the blade to be readily pulled out of the slot from the side, while being otherwise held firmly in place. A uniform flow of ink to the blade is provided by having the wiper holder function as an ink channel (31) with an overflow edge (33) or the equivalent on one wall. <IMAGE>
